FAQ
Questions China founders ask us
Can a foreigner own 100% of a Singapore company?
Yes. Foreign individuals and companies can hold all the shares of a Singapore private limited company.
Do I need to travel to Singapore?
No. You complete identity checks and sign documents online. Some banks may ask to meet you when you open an account.
Why do I need a local director?
Singapore's Companies Act requires at least one director who ordinarily lives in Singapore, such as a citizen, permanent resident or Employment Pass holder. A nominee director fills this role until you appoint your own.
How long does incorporation take?
Within one week once we have your documents and identity checks. Opening a bank account usually takes longer, depending on the bank.
What documents do I need?
A passport and proof of residential address for each shareholder and director, plus your proposed company name and business activity. We send a full checklist with your quote.
